Lesson 2: Grant Read-Only Access in Google Ads

Google Ads is a powerful tool for driving traffic and conversions, but sometimes you need an expert to analyse performance and identify opportunities — without making any changes. That's where read-only access comes in. Follow these quick steps to securely grant read-only access, so we can review your campaigns and provide insights while you stay in full control.

1
Log Into Google Ads

Go to Google Ads and sign in with your Google account. If you manage multiple accounts, select the correct one before continuing.

2
Open Account Access Settings

With the new interface you will need to click on the Admin cog on the left-hand side and a new window will open where you need to click on "Access and Security." If you do not see the cog on the left-hand side you may have the old interface — in this case look in the top right-hand corner, click the Tools & Settings (wrench icon), then under Setup, click Access and Security.

3
Add a New User

Click the blue "+" button to add a new user. Enter the email address digitalgrowthspring@gmail.com to grant us view-only access.

4
Set the Right Permissions

Choose the correct level of access: Select "Read-Only" — This allows the person to view campaign performance and reports but not make any changes. Do NOT select "Admin" or "Standard" access unless you want them to edit settings or manage users.

5
Send the Invitation

Click "Send Invitation", and we will receive an email request to access your Google Ads account. That's it — you're done!
